This started as a lonely little 5 inch cake that needed someone to love it. Then Alex had a birthday. It dressed all snazzy in pinstripes and was the life of the party. Good job, little cake. You were yummy.
I made this cake for my friend's baby shower. The bears looked great face on, with details like hair on his elbows and, legs and ears. On the side this photo makes them look like gorillas. Ha!
Purple, yellow, green, blue and pink bears sit on top of a two layer cake 10 inch cake with rainbow chip frosting. I love that stuff, even if it is store bought! It's what Heather requested and I can't disappoint a client.
This cake was carved into the shape of Australia with the nation's flag and two funny koala bears on top. I'm excited to say the fondant was homemade and tasted great! The cake is chocolate with almond-vanilla icing; it reminded me of a big Oreo cookie inside.
Happy 90th Birthday, Mutti! Mutti's family is originally from Tasmania, so it was important that I include the southeast island. All of her grandchildren got together for an Australian themed birthday party complete with music and dancing. I felt honored to be a part of this special day.
Here I am, loving my life, and doing what I can to make it sweeter each day. Kimmie's my name; cake is my game. I make them for fun and for purchase. Hit me up - maybe we can bake a cake together sometime!
