This cake was carved into the shape of Australia with the nation's flag and two funny koala bears on top. I'm excited to say the fondant was homemade and tasted great! The cake is chocolate with almond-vanilla icing; it reminded me of a big Oreo cookie inside. Happy 90th Birthday, Mutti! Mutti's family is originally from Tasmania, so it was important that I include the southeast island. All of her grandchildren got together for an Australian themed birthday party complete with music and dancing. I felt honored to be a part of this special day.
